You can read or write OPC tags or send MDA broadcast events.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>This simple report allows you to read or write any data points which are available via MDA (Manufacturing Data Access):<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; border: 0px;\" title=\"Report RCMXDATEST02\" alt=\"Report RCMXDATEST02\" src=\"http:\/\/websha.de\/xstepcafe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/RCMXDATEST02_01.png\" width=\"600\" height=\"353\" border=\"0\" \/><\/p>\n<p>To test an MDA broadcast event you simply select one of the &#8220;Data Point&#8221; fields in the &#8220;Write&#8221; section and use the value help (F4):<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"RCMXDATEST02_02.png\" alt=\"NewImage\" src=\"http:\/\/websha.de\/xstepcafe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/RCMXDATEST02_02.png\" width=\"600\" height=\"430\" border=\"0\" \/> <span style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Please replace the string &#8220;&amp;CATEGORY&amp;&#8221; with a string that represents your broadcast event (DEMO1 in my example above). To send the broadcast you add a value to the &#8220;New Value&#8221; field and press &#8220;Execute&#8221;. Of course you need to have a consumer to show you that the broadcast has been successfully executed. This can be done by a simple XStep:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" style=\"display: block; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;\" title=\"XStep.png\" alt=\"XStep\" src=\"http:\/\/websha.de\/xstepcafe\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/11\/XStep.png\" width=\"600\" height=\"174\" border=\"0\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">There is one local parameter on the node &#8220;MDA Inbox&#8221; with type PPPI_SHORT_TEXT which will be displayed in the single output element (&#8220;MDA Value&#8221;). The parameter name (&#8220;MDAVAL&#8221;) must be the one you have in the output element &#8211; of course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"Apple-style-span\" style=\"font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px;\">Finally you can do the test.
